Zippo 1937 with eyelet repaired later, $ 280.00

1937, the three-tier hinge end of the 1940s
Sale price: $ 280.00
It would seem, why such a relatively low price and quite a difference in price between the cigarette lighter in 1937 and a similar case with no inserts ($ 152.50)? The answer is simple: this instance is a three-link hinge, which was used in the late 1940s, that is, around this time lighter repaired and it was a new loop. Accordingly, even in spite of its rarity in itself, a fully original of 1937, this lighter does not pull. This is the seemingly insignificant details, but yet in reality they are strong enough to affect the price that an experienced collector can offer for a given instance.
