Why such a prejudice about Chinese-made? Yes, three quarters of all the world is made in China only because of cheap labor, but in China can do (in particular, to collect from components) and they make very high quality products, whether it's iPhone, whether it's lighter :) | |

| Of all disposable lighters Cricket - the best (those with a wheel). 10 years ago were disposable, transparent lighters (due to the vessel, also with a wheel) - were very sturdy. I do not know what kind of company. |

I now use the Chinese gas pipe lighters Jobon (different models). Excellent quality stuff, I tell you, even at a price of 10.07 dollars, I'm not talking about the more expensive models - hold in the hands of a high quality, reliable and worked well for a thing. So vooot ... | |

I will allow myself to dig up the theme and put in my 5 kopecks. about Cricket. 6-8 years ago we came across Crickets black with gold inscription and gold metal windscreen. These were the only crickets, which I saw the inscription "Made in Holland" (at least of those who paid attention to this aspect :-)). The rest are "ordinary" Crickets, standard color variations, across only manufactured in the Philippines. By the way, Hartman, if not confused, Swedish Match - sort of like there's Cricket, ethno their commercial brand. |

Yes, Bic - this is the pale horse, which udelal nafig entire market of lighters. If we talk about fakes cricket, I noticed from personal experience such features: 1) fake crickets button under the gas spring is not to be energizing the button. 2) Remove the windshield and see the control valve from the usual transparent lighters (in normal crickets, the valve is not adjustable). 3) Gas to smell stinky. 4) The flame may jump. People do not get fooled by a fake! |
