certainly in Germany to produce its own I think this is not the only examples of German cigarette lighters, but it is not excluded that the Zippo could go to Germany, who knows ... |

Germany at that time there has been a leading manufacturer of lighters. Zippo was made in America, and of course during the World could not be delivered into enemy Germany. A second major player in the market of lighters in 1940 was the United Kingdom. For Germany as it occurs to me only the two most popular brands of the 1940s, but both are too aristocratic to compete Zippo brutal and generally be somehow associated with the front. 1) Karl Wieden. Fair to say that KW produced not only elegant table lighters, but pocket easier. 2) Kaschie: C drugony another, while Austria was an ally of Germany, which has historically been the largest manufacturer of lighters from the beginning of the 20th century in general, in particular, that there was made famous IMCO - lighter, in terms of production surpassed even Zippo! That Imki (along with unnamed homemade "sleeves") and have been presented of mass of the part of Germany its allies during World War II. | |
