Jbelo company was founded by brothers Julius and Beno Lowenthal, in Germany. In 1928. was rediscovered as Colibri. In 1933. Colibri moved to London and became a branch Jbelo Colibri in Germany.

And the reason for the separation of the brand was that it was decided to tie Colibri patent on the ignition mechanism.

I like reading what she called Colibri of London, has been around since 1910, but basically it does not matter :)

Company founder, Julius Loulental lighters started as soon as they were born in the distant 1910. «Colibri of London» immediately became a pioneer in the development of automatic silicon, gas lighters and lighters with "unquenchable fire." A piezo ignition invention has revolutionized the business.
Already in the 30 years of the twentieth century, «Colibri of London» has developed a single collection of lighters, cigarette cases and hours. In the 70's, the company offers luxury writing instruments for the most discerning customers. Following the acquisition in 1988, the association «Park Line», «Colibri of London» became what we know now - now, luxurious and sophisticated products which can be purchased anywhere in the world.
