| according zippometru on this site at the moment ((not at the time of writing this post) 20:29:31 on my watch) was issued 532,866,205 lighters. if we take account of the size Zippy as ~ 3.9 cm to ~ 5.5 cm, the area is a lighter ~ 21.45 cm ^ 2. on rough estimates. According to Wikipedia, S of the whole earth about ~ 510,072,000 km ^ 2. All Zippo occupy ~ 11,429,980 097.25 cm ^ 2, which is ~ 114,300 km ^ 2! total: S of all the earth: ~ 510,072,000 km ^ 2 S all Zippo: ~ 114,300 km ^ 2! and this means that you need more time ~ 4462.5 release as many lighters that would cover them all the land. for approximately 356,960 years of growth and Zippy can cover the whole earth! | And if the production Zippo still be connected and the Chinese (it will be so in the future, for the transfer of production to China - a matter of time, IMHO), the Earth will be covered with Zippy much faster :) |
