| Looked at the catalog ... At first surprised, then thought ;) still tormented by the question: Who is developing design projects for Japanese Zippo!? If the Americans, why do they make your Zippo so boring ... Apparently, the Japanese subsidiary of the company conducts business on their own and the student has surpassed his teacher ;) |

"Japanese Zippo" made in Japan and China authorized distributors who buy in the U.S. only empty "blanks" lighters. So this is the question of the relation of distributors to collectible market - in Japan it is now, and I'm wildly jealous :) | |

| That's interesting, but in Russia is one of our distributors sell something of this Japanese variety? ;) In fact, such a step to the side, and that that is what that division of the company is doing what he wants, regardless of any corporate standards, it may be perceived as a loss of the authenticity of the product, but on the other hand, this "is not authentic "The product itself sets the tone and style for its consumer" audience "... ;) this I mean that it does not lose foreign Zippo collection value?! China still wary ... ;) |

| No, in Russia it is no one is buying, so that no one is selling. Unprofitable. About authenticity - you can talk in theory, but in the sense etov enough, because Japanese Zippo already recognized in the collector world de facto. Well, besides they are not just made of noodle, it's certified Zippo products. That is, from a legal point of view they are the real Zippo. | |

| Why is no one is buying? Could it be that no one is selling? ;) What is the disadvantage that ... Price hardly be overstated, transportation costs for flights across the Atlantic are comparable to the "Japanese" ... what's the catch then ;) |

| The catch is that no distributor (distributor and, strictly speaking, in Russia, only one, the firm "Korolus") profitable to buy and drive here say 5-10 pieces of lighters for sale. They operate completely different volumes. "Japanese" will be exclusive, since the demand for them in any very small. Accordingly, if they carry on sale here, they are already rather big price rise very much. Plus a very high import taxes, which even at ordinary prices Zippo in Russia now are 2-3 times higher than in the U.S.. Here you will buy Japanese Zippo for $ 300, given that the Ebay delivery from Japan say it costs 130? Rather, do not buy. You buy it on Ebay, or ask someone to help you. That's why no one in Russia and carries them not to carry will not be ... | |

| OK, in general, the picture is somewhat clearer ;) I'm here, even for fun, counted the cost of Japanese women yen in rubles and it appears that the spread of such a 2500-4500 p. + Cost of transport and customs clearance ....... Oh well ;) I do not know how to make beautiful cars, then let the lighter Coaches ;) |
